July is hot….
HOT HOT HOT
I am not kidding, but Seattle is going through a heat wave and its hot. It was 94 degrees today! The yard is turning yellow! What is going on?
The good news is that for the first time in 10 years my tomatoes in the garden are going nuts and so are the artichokes and I am so proud of Seattle Revival members huddling in that room every Thursday night at 7:30 PM with no air conditioning! God bless you!
My Garden is taking off but more importantly is my relationship with Jesus. That is really taking off. Jesus, I love you so much and thank you for the blessings you have given me. Even though my business life was in crisis, my walk with you Lord has never been better and I need to start having more faith, more trust, and more peace.
I am almost at the point where I don’t care about what happens here on earth anymore. It’s about eternity for me. I want to change for the better. I want to be used by Jesus.
In order to do that, this month has been a time of pushing in, refining, and making changes to my personality that is more Christ like.
Let’s face it, we all have stuff we need to work on and with me this year at least, it’s my Pride. I need to be less prideful and have more humility in everything that I do. Even so things did not go so good for me in a few recent business deals, I have learned to let go and forgive and even love people that are involved. Its not easy to be humble, but it’s important.
I know brothers and sisters that it’s so hard to walk right with Jesus. That is why there are only so few men and woman of God that are mentioned over the last few thousand years. It’s not easy walking right with Jesus, but we are all on this walk together.
When I stop and think about it, it’s really all about changing the little things. Our attitude here toward someone that angered us, or a comment to a brother that could have gone “smoother”. We all need to work on things “one at a time”.
As I change more, and spend more time with God, I begin to see and understand that its the little things that add up to creating your character.
Were on this journey together.
