March- A fallen world
We live in a fallen world. There are so temptations and distractions everywhere. Look at the new Disney movie. Listen to the hidden messages in the music. Those who think this life is all there is, that there is no afterlife, take advantage of every pleasure and distraction available to them. I see it every single day but the Bible makes it clear that we are to live as aliens in a foreign land. Earth is our temporary home and heaven is our eternal one. For now, we travel through this world with the intent of reaching our final destination. This should be a Christian’s focus, our journey to God.
“ For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20 (NKJV)
Our race has a purpose; there is a reason for the journey. Sanctification works out our character flaws, instructs us in love, and transforms us so that we reflect the image of Christ. Not all of us have the gift of evangelism, but we all have the call and honor to share the Good News. For it is God’s desire that all men be saved.
I find myself pushing in deeper every single day and now finally fruit is sprouting at Jesuslives.com. People come each week and I am so encouraged. Its so hard to be encouraged when March has been rainy every single day! Thank God for Jesus Christ who can do everything. I pray that all of your lives are filled with the Joy and Peace that only Jesus can bring.
